Computer Center

Very few colleges in Mumbai, have a separate lab that is dedicated to serve the needs of students with respect to internet usage and browsing.

VIT has setup a separate lab in an area of about 300 sq. m. which is dedicated to this sole purpose. Divided into 3 spacious labs, the Computer Center houses a variant of computers that is made accessible to the students at any given point of time.

Apart from the general IBM compatible Pentium 4 computers, the Computer Center houses Apple Macintosh Desktops and Sun Blade Workstations.

All the computers in the Computer Center and in the College are networked and backed up with a variety of Operating Systems including Windows, Linux and Solaris along with Printing and Scanning Devices.
