Overview
Engineering institutions are like a lifeless soul without proper laboratories to aid the students in developing their engineering skills. All the laboratories are required to be up to date with the latest instruments and electronic equipments that are constantly undergoing evolution in today’s electronic oriented world, which is not an easy task to be accomplished alone and the involvement of the faculties of all the various departments is very essential in the upkeep of the laboratories. In order that all the laboratories at VIT be equipped with all the latest instruments and the latest software’s and hardware’s required to sustain them is also properly maintained and in the best working condition, we at VIT have established a LAB Development Committee. This committee is governed by all the HOD of all the 5 departments and the main agenda of this committee is to ensure that all their respective laboratories are in ideal working condition and any suggestions or complaints are treated with the utmost priority by each of the respective HOD’s.
Goals
Technical education depends critically on laboratory setups with latest infrastructure and meaningful experiment setups. Laboratory development committee is expected to take every step to provide latest facilities in the Institute laboratories leading to research environment and creation of “Centers of Excellence” in the technological field.
