Overview
The Electronics Engineering Students’ Association (EESA) promotes, coordinates and organizes academic activities in Electronics, setting itself as a reference point within VIT’s field of Electronics Engineering.
The EESA helps build a healthy rapport between all the Electronics students of the college, which gives them opportunities to share their research amongst every member. The seniors can pass on their knowledge and experiences to the new student batches while the latter can also bring forth their problems to the former.
Goals
An Electronic engineer must find new solutions to the practical problems affecting our daily lives. An electronic engineer will work in team with other specialists to design, fabricate, produce, test and supervise the manufacture of complex products and systems i.e electronic equipments and components for a number of industries including hospitals, computer industry, electronic data processing systems for communication and in defence etc. They supervise production and manufacturing processes and oversee installation and maintenance.
Activities
In the course of an academic year, the EESA conducts various technical activities for the students. The Association organises various technical seminars, symposia and workshops like soldering, circuit and pcb designing, and many more. Robotics workshops are conducted to encourage students build their first robots, and then promote opportunities to use the same in the various rack events organised by the Association in the technical festival held in the college annually. EESA also conducts workshops and competitions on hardware debugging.
