Vidyalankar Institute of Technology houses various committees under its large wings. These committees range from various fields like sports, technical, literary, etc. one of these committees is the cultural committee.

The cultural committee has an important hand in uniting the entire college as well as other colleges with the sacred threads of ‘Culture’. It Organizes and conducts qualitative entertainment events with a judicious blend of traditional and modern culture. It also allows freedom to students in planning, executing events and activities but constantly monitoring that they do not deviate from the acceptable norms.

At the top of the hierarchy of the cultural committee stand the cultural secretary and the joint cultural secretary. They are followed by five heads of the five different teams under the cultural committee. They are documentation team, sponsorship team, publicity team, dance & music team and the creative team.

The documentation team takes the responsibility of writing all the documents for the committee. The publicity of the various events arranged by the cultural committee is taken care of by the publicity team. The dance & music team aims at arranging various dance and music related events as well as competitions. The creative team helps in making all the events look beautiful by their creative inputs. The sponsorship team plays a vital role in making each event a grand affair by arranging sponsors for the event.

Unitedly, the cultural committee works very hard to present innumerable events throughout the year in addition to the most splendorous and exciting festival of Vidyalankar Institute of Technology named ‘VERVE’.
