Born and brought up in ‘Dakshin-Kashi’ of India, the Pandharpur, I have always been fortunate to have blessings of lord Vitthal. After completing my B.Sc. with gold medal, I migrated to the city of my dreams Mumbai for my post-graduation, as the facility of further education was not available in my hometown.

While staying in a hostel at University of Mumbai, one of my faculty requested me to conduct a seminar for students in a remote school, on awareness of Science and Technology. Now when I look back, it was the start of my teaching carrier. It was an experience that I will always cherish. After completing my M.Sc., I was selected as the founder member of New Techniques division at Directorate of Forensic Science Laboratories, Mumbai, as Assistant Scientific Officer. Here I was fortunate to work closely with Indian judicial and law enforcement agency that enabled me to use my scientific knowledge to help make our society safer and more secured. I have established ‘Tape Authentication Laboratory’ from scratch and visited esteemed central forensic science laboratories during my tenure at DFSL. As I was about to settle in this role, I received a letter from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, to offer me a position as Research Assistant for one of their prestigious projects. It was a good opportunity for me that was difficult to deny. It was like my dream come true to work with one of the best scientists in such a premium research organization. Now when I look back, I can say with all certainty that, I gained immense scientific knowledge in BARC. However, there is always a second side of every story. So, even when I was equipped with new skills and valuable knowledge, one thing that I missed in BARC was my passion for teaching. BARC being a nuclear research organization, not many students were allowed inside those laboratories. My passion for teaching was making me restless by each passing day. At this time, I joined Vidyalankar Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor. Here, I started my journey as coach, mentor and teacher which is still going on.

As I continued to serve my teaching passion, my instinct for leadership and management led me to complete my PGDOM and Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, bit uncommon, but MUST to have for a teacher. These certifications made me realize that, even leadership and administration have a defined set of rules as we have in the subject of Physics!

Lastly, I would like to quote Steve Jobs, “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish!” for my students.
