As Walt Disney says, 'All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them’. Likewise, enthusiasm and happiness are keys to my life. I am born and brought up in Mumbai. Since my childhood, I was always inclined towards sports and reading books. But I think my engineering days proved to be a turning point in my life. It helped me to understand more about science as well as life lessons.

Initially I worked in TCS as a Business Analyst. I enjoyed those 2 years of my corporate job. However, I always pushed myself to gain knowledge and I wanted to expand it. So, later I joined IIT Bombay as a postdoctoral researcher. My interest lies in addressing basic fibre problems such as Chromatic dispersion, Modal dispersion, self phase dispersion, Rayleigh backscattering and Brillouin scattering.

My inclination to share my knowledge with my students, led me to join one of the most reputed colleges in Mumbai, Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. I follow Bloom's Taxonomy to teach my students which classifies their learning objectives into different levels of complexity. I have also undertaken an automation project from industry called Camlin; where we have monitored real time data of their whole plant like pressure temperature flow, system vibrations and so on. I had planned technical proceedings called Vtech-Seed along with my students, that can enlighten the future projects of aspiring engineers.

Sports and fitness always attract me. So, I am habituated to trekking and hiking. Honestly, I’m here because of the positive vibes that I receive every day.
